When and where are rehearsals?
We rehearse every Sunday from 4-6pm at Broadmayne
Village Hall. (From mid September)

Will there be tea and biscuits?
Absolutely! Tea and biscuits are a key part of rehearsals
it's a great way to chat and get to know everyone.

Do I need to attend every rehearsal?
Yes, please! We encourage all members to attend as many
rehearsals as possible—even if your scene isn’t being worked
on that day. Your presence helps the production come
together smoothly.

What should I know about show week?
During show week, we rehearse every evening once the set is
up. This usually falls during February half-term so please keep
that week as free as possible!
What should I bring to rehearsals?
Script (if you have one), a notebook for any notes, and a
positive attitude!

Who is part of the Broadmayne Players?
Our team includes cast members, directors, wardrobe, sound and set designers—we’re a big, collaborative group!

What happens during rehearsal season?
Rehearsal season runs from mid September to February and we let cast members know in advance which scenes will be the focus of each session.
Will costumes and props be provided?
Yes! Costumes and props will be provided by our fantastic team

Can I help with backstage roles?
Yes these are vital roles! We always welcome anyone interested in lighting, sound, costumes, set design, or stage management. ​​

Are there social events or meetups?
Yes! We often have gatherings outside of rehearsals,
whether it’s post-rehearsal chats, pub visits, or special events. It’s a great way to spend time with the group.
